Peter G.C Riley

PARTNER

The founding partner of C&D Blackpool, Peter deals with a diverse range of clients across all business sectors. Increasingly, Peter is extensively involved in Trust and Death Estate matters, and works closely with many Solicitors on these cases, whilst also dealing with more complex HMRC enquiries and investigations. In short, Peter’s aim is to demystify the complexity by taking clients through the process explaining the pros and cons of the various opportunities available. These are delicate matters and Peter is sensitive to those needs, ensuring a client’s affairs get the attention they deserve.

Peter Swarbrick BSc(Hons), FCA

PARTNER

Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton in 1984 and became a partner at C&D in 1987. He works closely with a wide range of corporate clients and has acted for numerous acquisitions and disposals of client businesses, focusing on the tax and commercial aspects of business agreements. His years of experience in complex negotiations with bankers, lawyers and investment companies ensures clients will get someone acting on their behalf that isn’t easily intimated by those trying to take advantage. This kind of demanding work keeps him on the road and working off site in his clients’ premises.

PARTNER

Steve has been a partner at C&D for over 20 years. He is a member of the tax faculty at the ICAEW and is experienced in a wide range of business sectors primarily working with SME’s, unincorporated businesses, non audit clients and business startups. Steve provides accounting, taxation and general support. Most of all, he understands the needs of small businesses, in particular the opportunities so often missed by other accountants preferring to work with larger enterprises. This is why so many of his clients seek his advice for business strategy outside of his accountancy role.
